Supports the Community: Shop Local - the 3/50 Project
I am very humbled and touched having grown up in this town to be in this leadership position. So many people have played a part in who I am today: District 57, Village Officials, State Representatives, Mount Prospect Downtown Merchants, and YOU the Businesses and for that I thank you. I graduated from St. Viator’s but my kids will be going to District 214, which will shape their future.
What a great time to not only be a resident of Mount Prospect but also have your business in and be a member of the Chamber of Commerce - Join Us! You have The Best Place to Raise Kids, Lee Dewyze, Randhurst Village where new businesses have already started to open and will have a state of the art AMC Theatre opening in late April. Then in the Downtown area you have thriving businesses, as we’ll as new businesses opening. On the South side there are well established business and new economic developments taking shape. All that and the Manager of the 2011 World Series Winner graduated from Prospect!
Reflecting on this past year has been like a roller coaster ride at Great America. It has many twists and turns. The ride is exhilarating, exciting, nerve racking, and just when you think the ride is over, there’s another loop de loop then the ride comes to an end. That’s how this past year has been for many of us, but we are still here. And 2011 will be an even better year for all the businesses and residents in Mount Prospect thanks in part to the Village of Mount Prospect’s efforts and support, so pat yourselves on the back for a job well done!!
In this upcoming year we are looking forward to seeing you at one of our many events. Check out all our great events on our website’s Calendar of Events.
On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Staff, I would like to wish the businesses and residents a very profitable 2011. CHA-CHING!!
Sincerely,
Richard Sassan, CPA
