COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

Meets Third Tuesday of the month, Noon to 1:00 PM

Purpose: To maintain on-going internal and external communications enhancing the image of the Chamber and our members. To develop awards to recognize the accomplishments and support of our members.

 

GOLF OUTING COMMITTEE

Meets as needed

Purpose: To organize two successful and fun Golf Outings (May and September) providing promotional opportunities for our members while raising revenues for the Chamber

DOWNTOWN BLOCK PARTY COMMITTEE

Meets monthly

Purpose: To partner with the Village of Mount Prospect to plan and implement a major downtown event for families and children which takes place in July. Coordinate volunteers, and run Business Expo and beer sales.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

Meets as needed

To review and identify issues of interest to the business community, take advocacy positions on those issues, and communicate the Chamber's viewpoint clearly and strongly to our membership, elected officials and the community at large.

AMBASSADOR COMMITTEE

Meets monthly the last Tuesday of the month at 4:00 PM

To make goodwill visits on existing members to recieve feedback on their interests and concerns and to deliver new member packages. encourage participation in Chamber programs and events acting as hosts and greeters at Chamber events. Act as liasons between the Chamber members and the Board of Directors.

5K RUN/WALK CORPORATE CHALLENGE COMMITTEE

Meets Monthly

Purpose: To plan and implement a 5 K Run for the community occuring in August i the Kensington Business Center.  Coordinate volunteers and fitness expo.
